The moment of the death of a Russian senior military adviser with the rank of major General Vyacheslav Gladkikh in Syria was caught on video. The video from the scene of the emergency appeared in the telegram channel “Bulletin of Damascus”.
The footage shows that a column of vehicles is standing on the road, and along it are several people, one of whom speaks Russian. At the moment when people pass by one of the cars, an explosive device is triggered.
Earlier it was reported that the deceased Russian participated in the liberation of Palmyra. At the time of his death, he was acting as a senior for a group of military advisers who were helping Syrians in Deir ez-Zor.
The death of Gladkikh became known on August 18. It was reported that an explosive device went off on the roadside along the route of a convoy returning from a humanitarian mission. It happened near the At-Time oil field near the city of Deir ez-Zor in Northern Syria. Along with Gladkikh, the commander of the national defense of the city of al-Mayadin, Muhammad Taysar Al-Zahir, and his subordinates were also killed.
The investigative Committee of Russia opened a criminal case on the fact of the incident.
